WHIRLWIND JOURNEY

Flood, typhoon and all other natural disasters are just phenomena that all living organisms on earth have to endure.Unfortunately, most of us are not aware of the existence of WMO and the services they provide. WMO is able to provide assistance in pre-disaster warning systems and post-disaster humanitarian aid.

In order to create awareness amongst the public, this exhibition merges the works of WMO with information about the natural disasters. Visitors walking through the journey of the exhibition will experience themselves a whole new rhythm and realm evocative of the mysteriousness of the cloud in the sky. The movement of the exhibition will lead them from a lowest point to the highest point, synonymous to the process of the formation of a cloud and at the same time, understanding the formation of WMO. Subsequently, the journey will descend from the highest point to the lowest point, bringing the visitors back from the higher altitude where they will learn about the sense of safety and importance of people's well-being promoted by WMO.

Therefore, the pavilion's interior journey is like taking a ‘walk in the clouds’, installed with numerous mist sprayers to promote a cooling and floating feeling and at the same time, to replicate a scene of water droplets in the clouds.
